Julia is a software developer and game engine TD who is passionate about developing innovative and intuitive tools for visual effects and virtual production. She has a diverse range of experience across visual effects and real-time graphics, including simulation and creature tools, virtual and augmented reality development, and virtual cinematography systems.
Some of the projects she has contributed to include “Ready Player One”, “Greyhound”, “Blade Runner 2049”, and Netflix's “A Series of Unfortunate Events”, as well as Google Daydream's Photo and Play apps and several VR and AR experiences on a variety of platforms.
Currently at Double Negative in London as an R&D software developer, she worked previously at Digital Domain as a virtual production Game Engine TD and at Digital Sandbox as a Technical Artist, always pursuing new and interesting ways to combine her love of film and technology.
