Max Kestner
Max Kestner graduated as a documentary film director from the National Film School of Denmark in 1997. He has since made several feature length documentaries in Denmark and has won several Danish Academy Awards.
"Max by chance" (2004) was chosen for First Appearance at IDFA Amsterdam and received a GuldDok for Best Short Documentary at CPH:DOX, 2004. His "The World in Denmark" (2007) received a Danish Robert for Best Short Film. Following his latest documentary “Amateurs in Space” (2016), Max Kestner is finishing his feature fiction debut with "Man Divided," a sci-fi drama set in a future world threatened by a disastrous flooding. “Man Divided” will premiere in 2017.
Rasmus Videbæk
Rasmus Videbæk (born 1973) graduated as a Cinematographer from the National Film School of Denmark in 1999. Soon after he established himself as one of the leading Cinematographers in Denmark. His work includes 18 feature films, 2 TV series and more than 200 commercials.
He has worked with internationally acclaimed directors as Niels Arden Oplev, Nikolaj Arcel, Martin de Thurah, Charlotte Sieling, Daniel Alfredson and Dagur Kari. His work has been awarded several prices in Denmark and Scandinavia. Videbæk won the Danish Academy Award for best cinematography for his work on “Kings Game” (2005) and “A Royal Affair” (2013). “A Royal Affair” received nominations for both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award.
In 2010 Rasmus Videbæk was awarded with “The Kodak Vision award” – the biggest cinematography award in Scandinavia. The price was given to Videbæk for his cinematography on Icelandic/American Movie "The Good Heart" Directed by Dagur Kari and starring Paul Dano and Brian Cox.
Martin Madsen
Originally educated as a Media designer back in 2001, Martin Madsen has been working with Visual Effects on moving pictures since 2005. He has been head of Nordisk Film ShortCuts VFX department since 2010.
Over the years he has created visual effects on about 75 feature films as well as a few TV shows. Some of his current and recent work includes VFX supervision of the upcoming Martin Zandvliet film “The Outsider”, staring Jared Leto, as well as the two Academy Award nominated titles “Kon-tiki” & “The Hunt”. Other recent productions include “Only God Forgives”, “The Party”, “Ginger & Rosa” and “Nymphomaniac”.
Last year he won the Danish Academy Award for Visual effects for his work on “The Shamer's Daughter”.
