Stacia Pfeiffer
Stacia Pfeiffer is Co-Founder of the award-winning Immersive Experience company Chaos Inc. She previously worked as a Virtual Production Consultant and Producer for Lux Machina, Dark Matters, and Dimension/ DNEG. She has 15+ years experience working in Technical Production and Live Events across the US and Europe, and was the recipient of R&D funding from the 2021 Creative Clusters to investigate Realtime application in Interactive AV Installations. She has also worked in R&D for Passion Picture’s ‘Passion Experiences’ division, and holds a Masters Degree in Immersive Storytelling from Royal Holloway, University of London.
Stacia began her career in California, where she worked as an event producer in clubs, music festivals and galas. Her event work crossed many technical disciplines, from pre-production and design, consultation, event programming, immersive installation, operation, and technical production/ stage management. Her most recent project, 'Monolith' won 'Best Innovation in the Creative Arts' at the 2023 Cogx Awards. Her work has been featured in AV Magazine, Sound on Sound, Art Plugged, Secret London, and live on Channel 4 news.
She is presently exploring large-scale location-based activations, and developing multimedia mixed-reality experiences, combining her love of art and installations with her passion for new technology and boundary-pushing audience interactivity. Future projects include production of original scripts and stories that incorporate new film-making processes and technology, including virtual production, in the initial stages of creative development.
