Peter Hjorth, VFX Supervisor
Peter is a well-known figure in the film industry of the Nordic countries and has been pivotal in the innovation and creative use of digital technology for feature film.
His work has challenged the conventions of the language of cinema using technology to explore perspective, randomness and the time and space relations of film storytelling.
As part of the Dogma 95 movement Peter worked with director Thomas Vinterberg on ‘The Celebration’ and with Lars von Trier on ‘Dancer in The Dark’ supervising the shooting of the musical scenes using 100 MiniDV cameras with custom built anamorphic adaptors. He has worked alongside von Trier ever since and his later projects include “The House that Jack Built” and currently “Kingdom Exodus” (Kingdom III).
Peters CV is long and includes work with several other prominent Danish directors such as Thomas Vinterberg, Anders Thomas Jensen, Susanne Bier, Nikolaj Arcel and Nicolas Winding Refn just to mention a few. He has won numerous awards in Denmark and in 2018 he was awarded the prize for Best Visual Effects for Ali Abbasi's 'Border' at the European Film Awards.
Jacob Clemmensen, VFX & Post Producer
Jacob Clemmensen has over 20 years of experience working with Danish and international productions as a post & VFX producer. Recent works include Netflix productions ‘The Rain’ and ‘Ragnarok’, the international production ‘Atlantic Crossing’, HBO-series ‘Kamikaze’ and several Danish feature films and tv-series like ‘Before the Frost’ (by director Michael Noer), ‘A Fortunate Man’ (by director Bille August) and ‘Speak no Evil’ (by director Christian Tafdrup)
Mikael Windelin, VFX & Post Producer
Mikael Windelin’s more than 20-year long career includes working for several production / post-production companies as well as running his own Minerva Film the past 12 years.
His work includes hundreds of TV commercials, Denmark’s first interactive film experience 48hourGames.com as well as co-producing more than a dozen documentaries and feature films supplying post-production and Danish financing.
His producer background comes very much handy when coordinating VFX with the different departments from camera to art departments and he conducts 2nd unit and plate shoots freeing the main crew to continue to their next scenes.
From 2013 to 2016 he worked with GHOST VFX as producer and director of development and since the summer of 2016 he has worked internationally as an independent VFX producer. Windelin has been nominated and awarded several times, among them for international projects like Joachim Triers ‘Thelma’, Tarik Saleh’s ‘The Nile Hilton Incident’ and Ali Abbasi’s ‘Border’.
