Chair, the Association of Danish Film Directors

Director, screenwriter and chair of the Association of Danish Film Directors Rasmus Kloster Bro has been practically everywhere since debuting with the award-winning 'Cutterhead' in 2019. Today, Kloster Bro also lectures students from The National Film School of Denmark in directing, applying his unique technological approach and cross-media insights to his teachings.

Rasmus Kloster Bro is a film director and screenwriter who graduated from Super16 in 2016. He made his feature film debut in 2019 with the Bodil- and Robert-nominated 'Cutterhead', a thriller shot on location in the Copenhagen metro. 'Cutterhead' has won awards at genre film festivals worldwide and at the French debut festival Premier Plans. Rasmus Bro has also worked with documentaries, short films, radio drama, music videos and installation art.

He is currently a lecturer at the Danish Film School's fiction director program and conducts practice-based research and artistic knowledge production, focusing on methods to compliment or make the script redundant as a prerequisite for the cinematic. He experiments with new technology and is interested in identifying intermediate media that can maintain and strengthen the pure qualities of cinematic language. He also serves as chairman of the Association of Danish Film Directors.
